Faith

While I was walking in the scorching heat of summer, bare footed, exhausted, defeated, saying "Lord, in this hour of grief and sorrow, when my own near and dear ones have deserted me one by one, you were the only one whom I thought will be by my side but it seems you have also forsaken me. I am all alone and that is why I see only my footprints as I walk." Lord replied. My Child, I love you. I have always been with you. In this very hour of grief also, I am with you. The only difference is that this time, you are so much engrossed in your sorrow that you are unable to feel my presence. The footprints that you see is not yours but mine. Right now, it is not you that is walking but me. You are so much heartbroken that you are not in a position to walk on your own. I have lifted you up in my arms.

Awesome. I needed to read something like this a lot. Not because I've ever found myself forsaken by God. But because my friends are heartbroken and wanted an immediate answer to their prayers and were peeving about it to me, that God is too busy with his favorite people. But thats not really true, I told them how impartial God is. But still they lost the hope and faith.

I should probably ask them to read what you've written. And ask them to have the faith that you have in God.

Thank you... :)
